About us Perth Radiological Clinic (PRC) is the largest private radiological practice in Western Australia with 22 hospital and clinic locations. We are the official medical imaging provider for the Fremantle Dockers, Perth Glory, Perth and West Perth Football Clubs.
What is the role? We have a very exciting opportunity for a Junior Medical Receptionist to join PRC in a permanent full-time capacity! You will work across our two Midland clinics Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays, paid at overtime! Providing exceptional customer service to our patients and internal and external stakeholders, this role would suit someone working in a customer-facing role ready to take that next step in their career. You will be supported by full on-the-job training during the first 8 weeks of commencing with ongoing support and development to see you thrive.
Reporting to the Clerical Supervisor, your day will look like this:
Filing and packing of films/CDs for courier deliveryAttends to inter-clinic phone to screen calls and direct calls where necessaryLiaises between front desk staff, technicians and doctors and follows up on requests and enquiriesAdmin - e.g. print consent formsGreets and arrives patients at the front deskChaperones medical imaging procedures as requiredEnsures reception waiting room and kitchen is well maintained and tidyArrange refreshments for doctorsCarefully handle and destroy confidential documents (e.g. referrals)Check incomplete list for outstanding reports or reports not verifiedWhat do you need to be considered? Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a fast-paced working environmentProfessionally presented and an approachable mannerGreat communication skills, including face-to-face interactions, email & phone mannerConfident with navigating around computers and able to learn new software systems/databaseValid driver's license and reliable transportFull Australian working rights (If you are on a visa, please ensure you confirm unrestricted working rights prior to applying)Ability to provide a National Police Check within 6 months or willing to obtainWhat do we offer?
