Your Role at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospital You will coordinate the recruitment and on-boarding of Junior Medical Officers (JMOs) and provide guidance and service to current and prospective JMOs.
You will need an understanding of AHPRA requirements for both local and internationally trained doctors and be able to meet their training needs by term placements.
The Position Responsible for the recruitment of JMOs to SJGSH in partnership with Group HR. Monitor JMO staffing levels with the Medical Workforce Manager (MWM) to ensure a continual recruitment cycle is maintained. Liaise with Group HR to ensure timely advertising of available positions. Respond to website, email and phone queries regarding recruitment. Maintain database of applicants to rapidly respond to workforce changes. Identify trends in medical recruitment and develop specialized programs to respond to areas of need and improve JMO retention.
Coordinate junior doctor recruitment events and conferences; liaise with all relevant stakeholders and ensure availability of marketing and promotional materials. Lead the recruitment process including shortlisting, interviewing and reference checking. Provide candidates with feedback post interview. Maintain recruitment processes and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement. Initiate recruitment documentation for new caregivers. Responsible for obtaining Medical Board of Australia registration. You will have experience working with junior doctors in hospital, university, and/or health care settings along with a high level of interpersonal skills.
To succeed you will communicate effectively with Consultants, Executive, Managers, Caregivers, and other external stakeholders in a courteous manner whilst conveying a high level of professionalism.

The Benefits Salary: $87,688 - $90,097 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation. Permanent Full-time position. Discounts on hospital services & private health insurance.
