We have a really interesting role available for a driven administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you love being part of a high functioning team. We have 2 newly created roles available due to the client winning new business - this company is growing from strength to strength. This role is highly suited to someone interested in developing experience in the Project/Construction space and is looking for a career, not just a job!
Our client is also open to someone wanting to make a career change so if you have come from a completely different industry but have the most amazing customer service skills, able to pick up systems and processes and got a strong work ethic - this could be your perfect opportunity! Ideal areas of experience would be working in the service, building/construction or Property/RE industry however this is not essential.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Liaise with commercial clients in relation to maintenance jobs
Take a detailed job brief
Create job on internal system
Determine the best trade/s required to complete the job
Find and allocate subcontractor/s and liaise with client to book job in
Data entry/update client details utilising project management software
Perform associated administrative duties and work closely with Project Managers, Project Admins and Maintenance Coordinators

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven admin experience ideal, preferably in Construction, Property Maintenance or related industry with the ability to multi-task
Open to strong retail/hospitality or other background and wanting to make a career change
You are organised and are genuinely interested in understanding how projects work and their lifecycle
Fantastic people and communication skills
High attention to detail critical
You love problem solving and are pro-active
Strong work ethic
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
Solid skills in MSOffice

Our client would be very open to a candidate who is originally from NZ and knows NZ well to assist with some NZ clients.
