We have an exciting entry-level opportunity for a Junior Machine Setter to join the team at our Bundaberg site.
Working closely with a fitter and turner and supervisor, some skills taught that will be a part of this role include:
Upholding safety standards in the workplace and around machinery Machine setting and tooling. Finding faults on carton erecting machines, which can vary from mechanical, electrical, pneumatic. General machine maintenance Inventory control Ordering computer parts through our systems We can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves. For this role we would ideally like you to have:
Experience working in a warehousing environment would be beneficial (but is not essential) A strong and reliable work-ethic A strong desire to learn a variety of skills The desire to problem solve and work with production machinery Ability to work in a hands-on environment (which can sometimes be hot, noisy and/ or dusty) Applications are open to both internal and external candidates.
