Bendigo Health is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in healthcare law while working for a leading regional health service.
As Junior Legal Counsel, you'll support our General Counsel and senior legal staff by providing legal assistance on medical and healthcare-related matters.
You will play a key role in reviewing contracts, assisting with medico-legal claims, and providing advice on clinical and health law issues.
This role requires a basic understanding of clinical language and the healthcare regulatory framework.
What You Will Do: Assist in providing legal advice on a range of healthcare-related legal issues. Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Research and provide advice on healthcare legislation and regulatory compliance. Support the legal team with medico-legal claims and litigation. Liaise with clinical staff to understand and address legal issues in healthcare settings.
