Full-Time Permanent Position Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League have an exciting and rare opportunity for a dedicated and loyal Junior League Competitions Coordinator to join their busy team.
The Panthers Juniors Rugby League Team are looking for an experienced and focused individual with fantastic organisational and people skills to step into the role of Competitions Coordinator.
You will join an enthusiastic team who thrive on the challenges of managing the largest Junior League competition in NSW.
Reporting to the Junior League General Manager, you will enjoy a busy role with a wide assortment of duties and assist with the organisation of the Junior League competitions.
Your Main Duties and Responsibilities include: Manage and oversee administrative and operational requirements relating to the Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League Club Limited Ie; MySideline Competitions, Teams, Draws.
Manage online platforms for the District Junior Rugby League, such as MySideline, e-newsletters and website.
Work closely with the NSWRL Competition Coordinator (CCC) to develop strategies to improve the operational performance of the Junior Rugby League.
Lead communication with the Junior League Executives, Junior Clubs and competition stakeholders Assist with the management, production and communication of the competition draw.
Assist with the coordination and promotion of competition rules.
Oversee MySideline requirements, including (but not limited to) registrations, uploading photos and ID's to profiles and working with the NSWRL CCC to review accreditations.
Liaise with local stakeholders and District Club for media opportunities to promote the junior league.
Assist the Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League Board and NSWRL CCC as required.
Coordinate the events and administration officer day to day tasks.
Take minutes from board/general meetings when required.
Attend all stakeholder meetings with the Junior League General Manager.
Bookkeeping: Maintaining monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, balancing books, and managing invoicing procedures To be successful in this role you will have: Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
Competency in Windows including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook.
Knowledge of junior rugby league an advantage Knowledge of Mysideline would be an advantage Previous experience working with volunteers highly regarded Typically working Monday to Friday, this role will require flexibility to work weekends, nights and special events and after hours as and when required of the role.
