We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated law graduate or junior lawyer (1-2 years' PAE) to join our Real Estate & Construction practice group in Canberra, on a permanent full-time basis.Your roleThe Commercial team has a proven track record of handling significant transactions within the Australian property market. Our expertise extends across the entire spectrum of property-related matters, encompassing retail shopping centres, commercial offices, and industrial sites. We have been integral in advising clients from the initial stages of acquisition through to development, providing comprehensive guidance and strategic insight throughout the process.With the support of an experienced and approachable Partner group and other lawyers and paralegals, you will work both independently and as part of a team, with direct client contact. This is a great opportunity to gain broad general property exposure, working within a collaborative team.About youIf you are currently completing your practical legal training or in your first or second year of admitted experience, ideally in a commercial practice, this role may be for you.Additionally, you will have:a strong interest in general property and leasing workwell-rounded verbal and written communication skills for both internal teamwork as well as for work with stakeholders and clientsexcellent drafting skills and a high attention to detaila desire to learn and a commitment to growing your careerthe ability to operate both autonomously and within a teama strong business and professional ethic, and the drive to succeedWe can teach you what you need to know and are invested in your success as you grow your experience and career with us.
