You must reside within commuting distance to our Sydney or Melbourne Office. We do work 100 percent remote however as a junior some attendance to either our Sydney or Melbourne Offices will be expected from time to time.

Job Description The Role:
Axe Group is looking for a talented Junior Java Developer to join its Product team. This is a great opportunity to grow and gain new skill set and to be mentored by a highly accomplished team of experts.
What you should possess:
Must have 1-2 years of work experience in Australian market using Java. Gathering project requirements by liaising with clients and stakeholders. Analysing project requirements and designing solutions and features. Experience with test-driven development. Experience in SQL and NOSQL Databases. Experience in the Spring Framework and Hibernate. Core Java versions 7 and 8. Desired Skills and Experience What we expect from you:
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Work as part of a software development team. Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration. Well-presented and good communication skills.
