We are looking for a Junior IT Systems Administrator for our Information Technology (IT) Department at our National Support Centre, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our company operations. You will ensure seamless IT operations by maintaining, enhancing, and securing our systems and infrastructure. Your responsibilities include maintaining server integrity, resolving technical issues, and supporting IT initiatives in line with our strategic IT plan and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
Provide first point of IT Support contact for all Spendless team members at any location. Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to respective Manager. Log all incidents and service requests in TSG- Spendless' service desk system as a case. Prioritising and managing multiple open cases at one time. Completing assigned tickets within required timeframes. Responding to breakdowns. Repairing equipment and replacing parts to maximise equipment life. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners including mobile equipment. Supporting the rollout of new applications. Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT department.
To be successful you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent working experience. Good communication skills, especially verbal for resolving issues. Experience with diagnosing hardware issues. Basic understanding of networking topologies. Problem solving skills & decision making. The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines between multiple projects. The ability to work effectively as part of a team or autonomously. The ability to show initiative with new ideas and opportunities. Ability to travel both inter and intra state and work rotating weekend roster (trade hours).
Highly Desirable:
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within a Service Delivery environment, support and System Administration within the IT network and infrastructure domain of a Retail operation. Knowledge of ERP, Finance, HR, WMS systems. Internal infrastructure and systems maintenance, management/support desirable.
