This is a 12-month fixed-term, part-time contract with a schedule of 3 days per week. About Objective: At Objective, we create software that makes a difference. Our role: The Junior IT Support Technician is responsible for supporting and managing the operations of Objectives' IT end-user systems and providing first-level IT support to employees and visitors. These systems include software and hardware components that you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining in accordance with our policies and procedures. This role reports to the IT Manager and does not have people management responsibilities.

\n A day in your role:Providing a high level of service and IT support to our end users, both on-site and remote.Monitor the Help Desk queue and manage IT tickets.Ensure all on-premise video conferencing and meeting room equipment is functioning.Work within the incident, request, problem, change and release processes.Manage the inventory of IT equipment, including ordering and disposal.Set up, deploy, and manage IT hardware, OS installation, software installations, patching, etc.Change backup tapes and perform other operation tasks.Resolving incidents and requests, escalating as appropriate.Racking of Network equipment, cabling, and other related Data Centre activities. Your skills, experience and beyond:Troubleshoot a wide variety of end-user IT issues on MacOS and Windows.Understanding of MS Office, o365, Domains, AD, Anti-Malware, Intune, phones, printers, and other end-user technologies.Understanding Linux, Jira, Confluence, AWS, Firewalls, OpenVPN, DHCP, Proxies, and Network technology is an advantage.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide a high level of support.Ability to prioritise and organise own work to meet deadlines.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple concurrent tasks.Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
