About our Client

Our client is a multi award-winning boutique accounting firm located at the southern end of the Gold Coast. With a young team and a modern approach to bookkeeping and accounting, they operate without ego, focusing on fostering a strong team culture and delivering outstanding client service.

Due to ongoing growth in their client base, they are seeking a Junior/Intermediate Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will handle compliance and engage directly with clients.

The Duties

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Compliance work for all entity structures excluding SMSF
Preparing financials, tax returns, BAS, IAS
Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients
Div7a, CGT, FBT, Payroll tax and other tax calculations
Assisting the Directors of the firm
Monthly management reporting for corporate clients
Assist with Tax Planning and Corporate Advisory
Utilising MYOB, Xero, Class and Quickbooks
About You 1-3 years of Australian public practice experience
Bachelors qualified
Undertaking CA/CPA or looking to start
Strong written and verbal communication skills
