ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a creative and eager-to-learn Junior to Mid Graphic Designer with a strong passion for Social Media content creation. As our Graphic Designer + Social Media Manager, you will be an integral part of our company, in charge of developing our visual branding and overseeing our social media channels to engage our target audiences and promote our products and services. You will work closely with our management team to develop and execute creative campaigns that align with our brand identity and business objectives. This job is well suited to current design students and recent graduates, looking to develop their skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you'll be working on all things digital, advertising and print. We're looking for someone who can:
Design and produce high-quality graphics for various marketing materials, including social media posts, website content, brochures, banners, packaging, and advertisements.
Create content for our social media branding, including engaging short-form videos and still photography posts.
Develop and maintain a consistent visual brand identity across all our platforms.
Manage and curate content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring regular and engaging posts.
Create and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our website.
Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics to optimise content and strategies.
Collaborate with our management team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for advertising.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Social Media Manager or similar role is preferred, but not necessary.
Higher education in Design, Arts or related fields is desirable.
Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience with Wordpress is a plus.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work.
Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to keep up in a fast paced environment and take initiative on projects.
Knowledge of the flooring or construction industry is a plus.
The ideal candidate is a flexible and resilient individual, ready to adapt to changes in the workplace and always puts their best foot forward.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work 3 days/week, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am-5pm. This is a fully in-office position, and the candidate must be able to reliably travel to Campbellfield, Victoria.
