Junior/Graduate Lawyer

McGilvray is looking for a junior litigation lawyer to join our busy and growing team.

We provide high quality legal advice across all commercial practice areas, including Banking and Finance, Building and Construction, Property and Real Estate, and Corporate and Small Business.
About the role We are looking for a motivated, hard-working and ambitious lawyer with 0 - 3 years' experience, preferably working in litigation (although not essential). You will be working directly with a Partner, who is regarded as an industry leader. You will be advising on a range of litigious matters, including building and construction, employment, general commercial, shareholder oppression, directors' duties, competition law, and property law.
You will have direct access to clients and be their first point of contact. You will assist in preparing advice, drafting court documents, briefing counsel, and appearing in court.
