We're on the lookout for a Junior Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our team and help us shape the future of Cyber Security.

Role Overview: As a Junior Cyber GRC Analyst at Willyama, you'll be integral to our efforts in delivering high-quality Cyber Security solutions.
This role offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience and grow your expertise in Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
You will assist in various tasks, from understanding current security environments to supporting compliance and transformation activities.
Key Responsibilities: Understand and Analyse: Get to know our current Cyber Security landscape and help identify gaps against our future goals. Documentation: Assist in creating and updating key security documents, including System Security Plans, Risk Management Plans, and Incident Response Plans. Compliance and Auditing: Contribute to auditing our systems to ensure they meet standards such as the Essential Eight and NIST frameworks. Design and Implementation: Support the development of various designs (i.e.
Access Management), security policies, and procedures. Support and Enforce: Help enforce security practices during operations and support ongoing security reviews and validations. Considerations: Location: Based primarily in Canberra, with potential for positions in other Australian capital cities. Duration: Initial engagement ranges from 3 to 6 years, with opportunities for extensions up to 10 years. Certification: Willingness to obtain ITIL v4 Foundation certification is required. Security Clearance: A current minimum Baseline security clearance is required. Desired Skills and Qualifications: SFIA Skills: Basic knowledge of Business Risk Management, Information Security, and Information Assurance.
Consultancy and IT Governance skills are a plus. Educational Background: A relevant degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security or IT Governance. Personal Attributes: Excellent communications skills, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. Why Join Willyama?
