You will use your foundational geotechnical engineering knowledge to support our innovative geological and geotechnical solutions using the Datarock Platform.Datarock aims to leverage its unique capabilities to provide our customers with geotechnical insights that are not possible to obtain by manual logging processes.
As a geotechnical engineer, you will be a key member of the team that will development our future products.You will be involved in various stages of our product lifecycle, from assisting in designing processes to collaborating with our internal machine learning (ML) labelling team, ML engineers, and data scientists, thereby contributing to creating high-quality geotechnical data.As a member of the Customer Success Team, you will receive training on the use of the Platform and actively contribute to maximising its value within the mining and civil construction industries.Key ResponsibilitiesApply your knowledge of geotechnical engineering within the framework of our Datarock Platform, contributing to domain-specific insights.Assist in collaboration with our ML and software engineers to help create high-quality, data-driven products.Provide support to the computer vision labelling team by offering geotechnical engineering insights, contributing to the quality of labelled data.Support internal stakeholders on projects, ensuring their timely and budget-conscious execution.Assist in maintaining thorough process documentation to ensure operational consistency.Contribute to the creation of user-friendly support documentation, providing clear, concise information to aid internal team members in understanding our products and solutions.Qualifications & ExperienceA degree-level qualification in Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline.Some industry experience in Geotechnical Engineering, including internships or cooperative education experiences.The ability to communicate effectively with internal team members.The capacity to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines within a project delivery environment.Flexible work arrangements: Embrace personalised schedules for improved work-life balance and overall well-being.Positive and inclusive team culture: Thrive in a diverse environment of experts from various domains, fostering learning and collaboration in the office or remote settings.Professional development: Unlock your potential through R&D activities, personal learning, contributing to publications, presenting internally and externally, and OSS contributions.
