Junior Finance Officer

An exciting full-time position is available for a junior finance officer to join our support office team in South Melbourne. Ideally, you are quick on your feet and thrive in a dynamic work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately processing supplier invoicesA timely preparation of payment runsReconcile suppliers' statement, AP ledgers, bank accounts, and credit card transactionsAssist with month-end closing processes, including preparing accounts payable related reports and journalsAssist in the implementation of best practice financial internal controls, policies, and processesSupport payroll's onboarding and offboarding processesAssist with queries regarding parent account statementsSkills & ExperienceMinimum 2 years' of accounting experienceSolid understanding of basic accounting principlesUnderstanding intercompany transactionsAbility to work effectively to deadlines as well as support finance team to meet tight deadlinesAbility to manage and prioritise multiple tasksDetail-oriented and organisedAn excellent team player with a customer-service mindsetDemonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills with suppliers and internal stakeholdersIntermediate computer skills, including but not limited to MS OfficeWHAT'S ON OFFER?Be a part of a positive, inclusive, and supportive work culture, where our staff can flourish and feel valuedAn opportunity to advance in your career60% discount on the gap fee for staff children attending our centresHow to ApplyIf you are passionate in what you do, we'd love to hear from you!
