JOB TITLE A junior / Field Service Engineer - Medical Devices - Radio Pharma and Diagnostics Imaging - QLD based JOB SUMMARY A junior FSE is needed for vital and sensitive technology in the Radio Pharma imaging space. Our client is doing amazing work in the imaging and Diagnostics space. Cutting edge technology. The company has large contracts with small, medium and major sized hospitals here in ANZ, and in most locations around the world. They have lean new systems, with a great ANZ Field Service team in place. Reporting into the National Field Services Manager who is based in Sydney. This role will have occasional interstate travel and working remotely. Out in the Field 40-60% of the time. Occasional interstate travel and annual trips to US or Europe (possibly as apart of ongoing investment in training). The technology is cutting edge software so ideally we require someone that would like to be a part of something new and impactful. THE ROLE The role will be to repair, service and install equipment on an ongoing basis covering NSW from Sydney. There will be the occasional need to travel interstate however they do have technicians dedicated to other states. The role will report remotely into the National Services Manager based in Sydney. He is very hands on and supportive running a team of 6 headcount. This manager is a senior member of the leadership team and has been with the company over 10 years ROLE/DESCRIPTION Working with company customers including in ANZ Some interstate needed. Install related hospital instrumentation at site Repair, test, calibrate technology as required Working with the customer service team and field service manager Sharing the load with another FSE in QLD area Scheduling and service activities RMA tracking Provide Progress reports Sales order tracking and progress reports to the management team Special assignments as required Assigned Inventories and contributing to a fun and vibrant team so that patients get the best outcomes Continuously develop customer relationships Develop technology knowledge with new editions being released ongoing REQUIREMENTS Life sciences degree Some experience working in a field service position in a medical device company Instrumentation, software or ideally imagin experience is a must Occasional flights to interstate Restricted Electrical license Can come from other industries related Physically demanding aspects to the job so much be able bodied Experience with TGA and Medsafe ABOUT i-PHARM CONSULTING i-Pharm Consulting is a specialist Recruitment Company servicing the global Pharmaceutical industry.
