As we expand our operations, we are looking for a proactive Junior Fabrication Draftsman & Estimator to join our team and contribute to our dynamic work environment.

What you'll be doing
As a Junior Fabrication Draftsman & Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Manufacturing, Detailing, and Procurement Manager.
You'll work on drafting initial council plans, producing detailed factory drawings, assisting with stock management, and occasionally supporting stock transportation.
This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for drafting, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
Drafting Council Plans: Prepare initial council plans, organize documentation, and manage online and physical job folders.
Factory Drawings: Create factory drawings for sheds and homes, including layouts for walls, trusses, and bolts, along with packing lists.
Inventory Management: Conduct monthly stock orders to ensure timely and accurate inventory management.
General Support: Assist the team with various drafting and fabrication tasks as required.
What we are looking for
Technical Proficiency: Experience with CAD software; a basic understanding of construction and fabrication.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of managing multiple tasks and documents.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; a collaborative team player.
Education: High school diploma (technical training or coursework in drafting is a plus).
