This association is looking for a junior Event Coordinator to join their team in their Melbourne Office.
Position Terms: Full-Time Role, hybrid/flex working Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 plus super depending on experience The Role: The Event Coordinator is an entry level role.
Supporting the Engagement Team, the Event Coordinator will have the opportunity to work across a range of first-class in-person, hybrid and online events.
The Event Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of operational and administrative tasks supporting the day-to-day planning and delivery of a nationwide content rich event portfolio tailored to meet the ongoing professional development needs members.
Key Responsibilities include; Coordinate key event related administrative tasks including; the maintenance of registration data responding to delegate queries coordination and management of event suppliers organisation of speaker travel preparation of run-sheets and event materials for distribution to delegates, staff, speakers and committees Coordinate post event evaluations and preparation of reporting documentation for financial and overall event analysis.
Observe OH&S and risk policies and create scenario and contingency plans as they relate to face to face, virtual and hybrid events for staff and delegates.
Implement go to market plans that deliver the highest quality promotional collateral, relevant to the target audience with sufficient lead time.
Draft and coordinate marketing and advertising materials for event promotion in line with overall marketing and communication plans.
Work with event and marketing teams to coordinate social media content as part of overall marketing and communication plans pre, during and post event.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
Provide support to team members as and when required via a range of event and non-event related administrative tasks as needed or directed.
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate of event management, marketing, communications, business or a related field.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and has a passion for delivering world-class experiences to members.
Exposure to event coordination both in the planning stages and on-site is highly desirable.
