Role Description: Due to an increasing workload, we are currently seeking a Junior Estimator with between 1 to 3 years construction experience to join our estimating team based in North West Sydney.

Key responsibilities for this role shall include: Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope and requirements. Prepare and send Request for Quote packages for subcontractors and suppliers to obtain project pricing. Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and accurate cost estimates and make recommendations for selection. Prepare and send request for information to clients to clarify project information. Work closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for cost estimates & methodologies. Assist in preparation of project methodology and program, ensuring clear communication of project phases, timelines, and milestones. Assist in preparing comprehensive project cost estimates for civil engineering projects. Update and maintain the company estimate database with current subcontractor/supplier information. Use of estimation software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), and CAD modelling programs. To be considered for this role the applicant must: Currently reside in Sydney. Possess a tertiary civil engineering qualification. 1 - 3 years post graduate construction experience. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency and efficiency in utilising computers and software applications. Willingness to learn and excellent organisation skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proven ability for developing and maintaining good relationships with other project team members, the client and subcontractors. Why Join Us?
