The Role & Business
Reporting to the Chief Estimator and working with an inclusive team comprising Estimating Manager, 2 x Seniors & 3 x Intermediates plus associated Cadets, you will have an excellent platform to continue your career growth as a Junior / Intermediate Estimator.
Gaining exposure across Hard Dollar, Cost Plus, ECI, and D&C contracts, you will be offered the chance to manage your own tenders to $5M and be exposed to larger projects up to $200M as you demonstrate your skillset.
Working with blue chip private clients, you will gain varied tender and cost planning experience and work with a well-resourced Pre-Construction team with a thorough review process.
The Builder is renowned for being at the forefront of innovation within the Australian construction industry.
They currently turnover more than $450M as a group with successful interstate offices, typically over-service existing Clients and develop repeat business which generates more lucrative profit margins.
They win their work through negotiated tender, ECI, and limited Hard Dollar work as opposed to consistent open tender and can look back upon Client relationships lasting more than a generation.

Qualifications & Experience
You will have a minimum of 1 year's Estimating experience for an Australian Builder in addition to experience as a Cadet - ideally, you will have commercial construction experience as opposed to purely residential.
You will be looking to develop your career with an industry leader - initially managing your own tenders to $5M with the chance to progress to projects as large as $200M.
You will have strong people management skills, solid subcontractor relationship attributes, and a professional and calm demeanor.
You will be able to produce strong references from key stakeholders including Clients & Employers.
