Our top end team is growing to keep up with our busy and diverse project lineup across the NT!About the roleJoining our team means you'll work alongside hazardous materials & occupational hygienists, experienced environmental scientists & engineers, geologists & hydrogeologists, and remediation and waste management consultants on a wide variety of projects. This role offers a huge variety of tasks which reflect the diversity of projects you'll work on. No two weeks will be the same!You'll learn how to be responsible for:Hazardous materials/asbestos assessments and inspectionsOccupational hygiene monitoring and asbestos fibre countingManaging field programs for a range of contaminated site investigations including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and validationObserving, guiding, and recording site remediation activitiesData management, interpretation, and quality assurance/quality controlAssisting with writing proposals, project correspondence and technical reportsEngaging with our clients and contractors and delivering and managing end-to-end projects.Our project line-up includes some of the biggest and most significant environmental projects in the NT. We provide specialist services to the Department of Defence, Federal and local government agencies, and several tier 1 mining companies.About youTo shine in this great career development role, you'll need to:Have qualifications in environmental science(s) or relevant industry experienceHave confident communication and great relationship building skillsBe prepared to work remotely and regionally within NT as requiredHold a full Australian driver's licenseBe an Australian permanent resident or citizen (required for the Dept. of Defence)Previous experience gained in relevant field/site work will be an advantage.
