This role offers a huge variety of tasks which reflect the diversity of projects you'll work on. No two weeks will be the same! You'll learn how to be responsible for:Hazardous materials/asbestos assessments and inspectionsOccupational hygiene monitoring and asbestos fibre countingManaging field programs for a range of contaminated site investigations including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and validationObserving, guiding, and recording site remediation activitiesData management, interpretation, and quality assurance/quality controlAssisting with writing proposals, project correspondence, and technical reportsEngaging with our clients and contractors and delivering and managing end-to-end projectsAbout youTo shine in this great career development role, you'll need to:Have qualifications in environmental science(s) or relevant industry experienceHave confident communication and great relationship building skillsBe prepared to work remotely and regionally within NT as requiredHold a full Australian driver's licenseBe an Australian permanent resident or citizen (required for the Dept. of Defence)Previous experience gained in relevant field/site work will be an advantage.
