We are looking for a Coach to help our program grow, coaching our Junior and Bronze swimmers and assisting with the National Age and Performance Squads.Rackley Swimming is very proud of the world-class coaching team employed across the CVM centres in South East Queensland. This position offers the candidate an opportunity to join one of Rackley's fastest-growing squad programs in an organisation committed to supporting coaches, developing the sport, and actively supporting performance and participation pathways.About the roleThe role is Full-time permanent employment. The role will be based at the Jindalee Pool and report directly to the Head Coach.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Implementation: Assist the Head Coach in planning, implementing, and evaluating training programs that address swimmers' physiological and psychological needs across various skill levels.Swimmer Development: Foster a positive and supportive training environment, encourage swimmers' progress, and facilitate a smooth transition between the Learn-to-Swim and Squad programs.Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head Coach and other coaching staff to ensure consistency and high-quality coaching across all programs.Community Engagement: Promote club participation and encourage swimmers to participate in club activities and local, state, and national competitions. Attend these to support swimmers' development.Communication: Maintain positive relationships with swimmers, parents, and the wider community.Aquatics Coaching Professional Development: Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to seeking opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in aquatics coaching.Schools Programs: Support the delivery of coaching for school swimming and training programs.About youWe are looking for a highly motivated individual who can build and balance the multifaceted nature of the role. Key traits and experience we seek include:Experience with developing a community program and athlete development pathways.Prior coaching experience.Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with swimmers and stakeholders and take them on their journey to develop swimmers to their full potential.Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with a willingness to engage and work closely with swim teachers.The qualifications required for this role are:Coaching accreditation – ASCTA Competitive Strokes and "Development/Bronze" or higher.Current Blue Card.Current Lifeguard Qualifications.Willing to undergo a National Police Check.To apply, please attach a cover letter and resume to your online application.About Rackley Swimming & City Venue Management:City Venue Management (CVM) is a facility management company that operates aquatic centres, swim schools, coaching programs, and health clubs from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast and in Toowoomba and New South Wales.
