Rare opportunity in our Bonds design team Highly creative design space - talented and experienced team Hybrid working arrangements - Work from home Mondays and Fridays! We have a unique opportunity for a Junior Designer in our Bonds design team.
Reporting to the Senior Designer, you have the ability to drive design projects from concept through to execution and have a love of colour and print.
This role is highly creative with a focus on option management, functional collaboration, colouring and creating textile repeats, and ensuring the range is cohesive.
As well as your seasonal responsibilities you will also be involved in ad hoc project work which will require an efficient response and quick turnarounds.
Having strong time management skills, together with a creative response, is essential.
Key responsibilities include: Colour and print expertise Creating and executing design concepts Hands on design including fabric selection, fittings and prototype sampling Management of large seasonal ranges using Product Management Lifestyle systems (PLM) Collaborating and developing strong relationships with cross functional teams Ability to work autonomously and as part of broader design function/team Ability to conduct product presentations What Skills and Experience do I have? Proven track record in similar design roles or senior Design Assistant level An innovative and creative approach to design Inspirational team leadership capability An ability to work quickly and delivering a high output - the pace across the design team is fast and you must be comfortable operating in a busy and fast-moving environment Knowledge and understanding of knitting, yarns and fibres will be highly advantageous An ability to drive design projects from concept through to execution.
Highly proficient with illustrator and photoshop is required A bit about us ...
