About Us: L+R Project Management provides construction-focused project management consulting services to private, corporate, and government entities in local and interstate markets. Following continued growth, we currently have an opening in our Brisbane office for a Junior Contract Administrator. This position presents a chance for the right candidate to join a team that prioritizes delivering outcomes and operating in an exceptional work environment.
Key areas of responsibility: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional consulting role ideally focused on engineering, Contract administration, project management, or project coordination in a client facing role.Assist in the coordination and management of construction projects under the guidance of senior project managers and division managers.Assist with the preparation of project fee proposals.General contract administration.Collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure project objectives are met.Support project planning activities, including developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.Assist with site visits and inspections to review contractor performance. Assist in preparing project documentation, including tender documents, contract information, construction claims, project correspondence registers, variations and extensions of time, and progress reports.Facilitate communication and coordination between different project teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.Assist in the management of project financial reporting and record-keeping including invoicing. Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet established standards and specifications. Prerequisites for the role: Genuine interest and awareness of the local commercial construction industry.Intermediate to advanced level computer skills, using Microsoft Software.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A professional, business-like approach.Intermediate technical skills and a desire for ongoing professional development.A willingness to learn, develop and work both autonomously and as part of a dedicated team.Strong attention to detail.A "can do" solutions-focused attitude.The ability to multi-task effectively and confidently whilst working across several assignments.As part of our team, you will be offered ongoing training to expand your skill base and ensure your continued professional development.
