A Bit About The Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Cloud Operations Specialist to join our Managed Services team.
This entry-level position focuses on monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
You will support the reliability and security of our cloud services by responding to alerts and assisting with troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance using tools like Datadog, responding to incidents and service requests with guidance from senior team members.
Assist with network/infrastructure-related issues. Cloud Deployments: Support cloud service deployments by helping with configuration and integration tasks. Incident Response: Participate in diagnosing network-related incidents.
Document incident resolution and escalate more complex issues to senior staff as needed. Reporting & Documentation: Assist in generating reports on performance and incidents.
Maintain documentation for monitoring processes and network changes. Collaboration: Work with other teams, including security and development, to ensure the smooth operation of network services. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining monitoring tools and processes.
Share insights to improve cloud service reliability. About You Associate's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 1-2 years of experience in IT support, network operations, or related roles. Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with network monitoring tools and general IT concepts. Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. Preferred Skills Exposure to network monitoring tools and dashboards. Basic knowledge of incident response procedures.
