Junior Business Analyst (SOP experienced)Australia - VICMelbourne - All locationsWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our Supply Chain and Operations team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business processes, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient use of Oracle Supply Chain and Inventory modules.
Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the implementation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Analysis and Support:Assist in the configuration, testing, and maintenance of Oracle Supply Chain and Inventory modules.Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues related to Oracle systems.Collaborate with IT and external vendors to implement system enhancements.Business Process Improvement:Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across supply chain functions.Analyze existing workflows and propose improvements to optimize efficiency.Ensure alignment of processes with industry best practices and company objectives.Data Analysis and Reporting:Perform data analysis to support decision-making and identify trends or anomalies in inventory and supply chain operations.Generate and maintain reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and lead times.Provide insights to senior analysts and management to support strategic initiatives.SOP Development and Maintenance:Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supply chain and inventory processes.Ensure SOPs are clear, comprehensive, and adhered to across departments.Facilitate training sessions to educate team members on SOPs and Oracle system functionalities.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with procurement, inventory, production, and distribution teams to understand business needs and challenges.Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure effective communication.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role, preferably in supply chain or inventory management.Basic understanding of Oracle Supply Chain and Inventory modules (prior experience is highly desirable).Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and their application in business settings.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud or Oracle Fusion.Knowledge of supply chain principles, including inventory control, procurement, and demand planning.Certification in Oracle Supply Chain or a related discipline is a plus.Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Critical thinking and the ability to work independently.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and training.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and tools.#J-18808-Ljbffr
