The Role
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our high-performing accounts receivable team for a maternity leave contract, commencing on 1st December 2024 to 31 August 2025 with possibility of extension. In this role you will prepare invoices, process payments and credit requests, and assist with escalated customer service requests regarding billing.
Once trained, this role offers the opportunity to work from home on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Day-to-day duties Generate invoicesProcess paymentsInvestigate and process credit requests, applying discounts and/or adjustments as neededProcess service cancellations including account closure and issuing of final invoiceAssist with escalated customer service requests regarding billing Perform credit assessments including external credit checksPerform month-end close tasks Adhering to and enforcing internal policiesProvide support to the wider Accounts Receivable team as required What we are looking for 1 or more years of experience in Accounts ReceivableOutstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate emotional intelligenceCompetency with Microsoft ExcelSomeone who has excellent attention to detail Good time management, organisational and proritisation skillsAn autonomous self-starter with the ability to think on your feet.A team player, pitching in to help colleagues in a fast-paced environment Desirable Previous experience in the telecommunications industry An end-to-end understanding of the accounts receivable process Benefits for you!
