We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Global Supply Management Accountants team. The Global Supply pillar is all about contracting product to make it easy for our agents to book land offerings. We are a small team who manage the financial health in Microsoft D365 accounting system on behalf of our selling partners. We will provide the necessary training to succeed in this role and open this up to those just starting their accounting and finance careers. The successful candidate will enjoy collaborating within a team, have a willingness to learn, and possess an eye for detail. What you will be doing...
Support exceptions handling of an automated process which records sales and cost of sales financial transactions. Reconciliations such as bank, third party statement, and others. Processing of internal charges. Protect our business by monitoring and reviewing at-risk items such as outstanding cash, audit ledgers, debit ledgers, and unreconciled transactions. Constantly look to improve efficiencies within finance workflow processes. Assist with special projects and the implementation of systems and process improvement initiatives. Respond to finance-related queries from front end operations within SLA, under guidance from Accountants. Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards, and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes. Preparation of end of month pack focusing on results and risks. Always questioning whether there is a more efficient way of doing things.
Skills and qualifications...
This is a great role for someone looking to start their career in accounting in a large ASX listed company. Studying towards completing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or similar. Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
