About the Job Vasey RSL Care has a new opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join our friendly Finance and Corporate Services team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Preparing financial reports and statements for key stakeholdersSupporting internal auditingPreparing financial modelling and financial risk assessments of projectsProviding knowledgeable and well-researched responses to finance-related queriesWorking as part of a team for the annual preparation of operations budgetsPreparing financial reports for Vasey RSL Care BoardAbout You To be successful in this position, you will be a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused individual who takes pride in your work and representing Vasey RSL Care.
In addition to your previous experience as an accountant, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in an accounting or related fieldIntermediate computer literacy with experience using accounting software packagesStrong numerical literacyKnowledge and understanding of relevant Aged Care Legislations and specific industry standardsDemonstrated high level of skill in verbal and written communication, report preparation, letter writing, and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to analyse and interpret dataDemonstrated organisation, time management, and multi-tasking skillsHigh level of initiative and ability to manage and co-ordinate projects autonomously with limited supervisionWe recognise the rich diversity of people across Australia.
