About the Job Vasey RSL Care has a new opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join our friendly Finance and Corporate Services team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to:
Preparing financial reports and statements for key stakeholdersSupporting internal auditingPreparing financial modelling and financial risk assessments of projectsProviding knowledgeable and well-researched responses to finance-related queriesWork as part of a team for the annual preparation of operations budgets.Prepare financial reports for Vasey RSL Care Board.About You To be successful in this position, you will be a professional, empathetic and customer focused professional who takes pride in your work and representing Vasey RSL Care.
In addition to your previous experience as an accountant, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in an accounting or related field.Intermediate computer literacy with experience using accounting software packages.Strong numerical literacy. Knowledge and understanding of relevant Aged Care Legislations and specific industry standards.Demonstrated high level of skill in verbal and written communication, report preparation, letter writing and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data.Demonstrated organisation, time management and multi-tasking skillsHigh level of initiative and ability to manage and co-ordinate projects autonomously with limited supervision.We recognise the rich diversity of people across Australia.
