About the Role
In this Financial Accountant position, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations, which serves a large and growing customer base. Reporting to the Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Managing end-to-end month-end processes for the Leisure business, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and cash management.Assisting with half-year and year-end statutory audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.Monitoring and reviewing at-risk items to safeguard the business.Driving efficiencies within finance workflows by identifying and implementing process improvements.Supporting special projects and contributing to system enhancements as needed.This role requires a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and adaptability to succeed in a dynamic environment.
About You
The ideal candidate is a motivated accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial controls and processes. You'll bring:
CA/CPA qualification (or active progress toward it) and a finance or accounting degree.6-12 months of experience in an accounting role, ideally in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills for developing relationships at all levels of the organization.An organized and disciplined approach to your work, with excellent time management.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, along with the flexibility to adapt to changes and growth.Your collaborative nature and commitment to high standards will make you a valuable asset to the team.
