This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to develop fundamental sales and account management skills while gaining invaluable hands-on training and experience. What You Will Do Working from home (and on the road) and reporting to the General Manager (in Queensland), you will learn sales activities, develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and gather an understanding of pricing and merchandising. You will learn Clever Choice's product offerings which include Timber, Vinyl, Hybrid, Laminates, all matching accessories, and much more.
You will be tasked with visits to meet stakeholders within the region, working closely with our sales team to better understand the role and learn as you move forward. As such, your passion for stakeholder engagement and ability to learn will be essential to your success.
What's this role all about? Learning, developing, and gaining invaluable experience (and product knowledge) to establish your career in this dynamic business and industry.
During the day, you will support senior sales staff in stock checks, product training, visual merchandising, and maintaining showroom standards.
Develop product knowledge to effectively recommend solutions tailored to customer needs.
Develop flooring installation & maintenance knowledge to educate the industry.
Contribute to a positive team environment and continuous learning culture.
Requirements: Passion for sales and customer service with possible previous experience in hospitality or retail OR you may have worked in floor laying or a similar trade.Hands-on individual who will relish the opportunity to work directly in all aspects of the industry and desire to learn as you go.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.Current full Drivers Licence.Comprehensive training and mentorship.
