About the role:
Reporting to the Director - Sales Account Management, this newly created role is a critical part of our Warehousing Equipment & Automation team. This area of our business has been identified for significant growth within our region, and it is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join us in the right location and at the right time!
Key to your (and our) success will be the targeted promotion and sale of our full range of Warehouse Equipment and Automation solutions to customers, helping to achieve ambitious yet achievable sales targets.
Specific responsibilities include: Strategic use of existing CRM data, alongside market and competitor analysis, to identify and execute new lead generation Following up and converting leads generated by our materials handling sales teams Establishing a profile and building rapport with new and existing customers Consulting with customers to implement 'solution selling' Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver identified solutions to customers Preparing tenders for warehousing equipment and automation solutions, including all relevant documents and calculations Presenting tenders/proposals/quotes and conducting contract negotiations with customers Ensuring accurate processing of orders in collaboration with internal stakeholders Attending and supporting local and national fairs and exhibitions as required Who you are:
A natural networker, your love of finding the right solution for each customer, coupled with your strong contract negotiation skills, will be key to your success and enjoyment in this role.
Your industry experience in production, logistics, or material handling processes, alongside your awareness of relevant regulatory compliance, will put you in a strong position to learn about our full range of customer solutions. These may include our range of Racking, System Trucks, JH Financial Products, warehousing software, Automated Storage Retrieval Systems, and Automated Guided Vehicles.
Proficiency in MS Office and general IT skills will also be essential as you familiarise yourself with our specific software and CRM tools.
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess an analytical and structured approach to your work. Like the entire Jungheinrich team, your strengths will include initiative, commitment, and authenticity.
