We are now seeking a highly motivated HR & Payroll Administration Assistant to join our team on a full time basis with an immediate start. Working hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM at our head office in Yeppoon QLD.
Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager you will play an important part in the Company by providing administrative duties for human resources and assisting with all payroll related functions for the Company.
What you'll be doing Provide comprehensive administrative support for the HR and payroll processes Assist with employee onboarding, including preparing contracts and managing documentation Process weekly payroll (150+) employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation Maintain employee records and update HR information systems Respond to employee queries related to HR and payroll matters Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures Provide general administrative support to the broader team as required What we're looking for Proven experience in a similar HR or payroll administration role, preferably in the construction or equipment hire industry Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Intermediate level of Microsoft office skills Proficient in the use of HR and payroll software, such as MYOB and HR3 Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team Genuine interest in human resources and payroll administration What we offer
