The Company
Our client is a highly reputable, leading engineering contractor with 17 office locations Nationwide. They have been specialising in a range of solutions for Building Structure Repairs and Infrastructure Asset Management specifically Remedial Building / Concrete Repair, Façade Recladding, Waterproofing and Protective Coating works.

The Role
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a HSEQ Advisor desirably with experience in Remedial Building and Façade Re-cladding works to join their Canberra team. You will have 4+ years experience as a HSEQ Advisor preferably coming from a tradesman background working on site.

Reporting directly into a WHSEQ Manager, this role will primarily be site based visiting multiple sites across Canberra, ACT and some parts of regional NSW.

Main Responsibilities Assisting project teams in preparing and implementing HSEQ documentation Mentor, coach, advise and educate site personnel of HSEQ legislative requirements & changes Incident reporting Assisting management to encourage a positive HSEQ culture Conduct HSEQ site inspections and audits Coach site teams on pre-start meetings and Toolbox meetings Coordinate HESQ training programs including the maintenance of competency standards Analyse HSEQ performance, reporting, system updates What are we looking for? 4+ years experience as a HSEQ Advisor or similar role Desired but not essential - Previously worked as a tradesman on site and has a good understanding of Building and Construction works White Card Asbestos Awareness Silica Awareness Cert IV in WHS, or Diploma in WHS, or Degree in WHS Police clearance Experience in reviewing SWMS, JHA's and conducting Audits An understanding of Quality Management processes Desired but not essential - Experience in Remedial Building and Façade Recladding works Full Australian Working rights What is on offer for you?
