This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a dynamic team overseeing all contract lifecycle of projects from approvals to occupancy certificate (OC). You will be delivering commercial, education, hospitality, facilities and residential projects up to $30M.
Head Contractor: Long term pipeline of projects Location: North West & Hills District, Sydney NSW Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 + Super negotiable dependent on experience and value you can bring. What you will be doing? Construction Knowledge: Oversee all stages of construction, ensuring work progresses smoothly and efficiently from approvals through to the final handover. Scope of Works: Confidently write and manage detailed scopes of work for each project. Autonomous Work: Ability to manage your workload effectively, understanding the process without needing constant management. Leadership & Mentoring: Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members as necessary. Contract Understanding: Manage contract notices to clients and subcontractors with clear understanding and precision. Programming Knowledge: Review and interpret construction programs, with MS Project experience being a significant advantage. Collaborative Environment: Work closely with a supportive and easy-going team, where collaboration is key to our success. What are we looking for? Strong knowledge of the construction process, including approvals, contract management, project delivery, and contract documentation, with effective communication skills to clients and subcontractors. Motivated and eager to learn, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple aspects of a project. Construction software: Procore & MS Project knowledge being a major benefit. Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead and guide junior team members. A positive, easy-going attitude and a team player who enjoys a collaborative environment.
