The Position
Emergency Medicine Physician - Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist / Senior Medical Officers.
ACEM trainees awaiting fellowship results will be considered.

Total remuneration value of up to $603,602 p.a.
(L27) is comprised of:
An annual rate between $182,106 - $266,677 p.a.
(L18 – L27) 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 17.5% leave loading Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 p.a.)
Motor Vehicle Allowance Over-time and on-call allowances Emergency Department Speciality Allowance Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance (Granted Private Practice arrangements) The Location

The Facility
The Emergency Department is a regional adult and paediatric mix ED with an annual attendance of 50,000 presentations, of which 25% are paediatric.
This 305-bed referral centre in Central Queensland provides specialised services, including Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Cardiology, Oncology, Rehabilitation, Paediatrics, Surgery, and Psychiatry.
It also boasts a Cancer Care Unit equipped with advanced technology, serving both local patients and those from visiting tertiary hospitals.

The Requirements
MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and registered as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine with AHPRA.
ACEM trainees awaiting fellowship results will be considered.
