About the RoleAs a Journey Expert in our Home Loans Portfolio, you'll play a key role in helping customers to buy and own a home, by providing easy to use products and services.
We're passionate about meeting the needs of our customers today, while innovating to delight them tomorrow In this role, your main priority is to ensure that the Home Loans business area is effectively managed.
This may require taking ownership of specific governance functions, working on an initiative, or collaborating with a team of professionals who share similar skills to manage and coordinate essential activities that help us strike a healthy balance between delivering high quality customer outcomes with operating as a well-managed business.

Our Journey Expert roles offer you not only the flexibility and variety within the realm of Project Delivery, but also the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities outside of this domain.
You may be asked to contribute your skills to other teams that support different aspects of the Home Loans business, providing you with a chance to develop a broader understanding of the industry and develop new skills.

Role Type: 12 months secondment/fixed term
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC What will your day look like? The successful applicant will be open to contributing to and supporting any of the below activities:
Identify/support identification of the scope and capacity to deliver each deliverable before providing inputs into the overall delivery roadmap and plan Gather and translate business needs into consumable requirements.
This includes leading/supporting elicitation workshops, analysis, specification and validation of requirements, as well as by understanding feasibility and potential impacts Identify and analyse impacted business processes, including understanding of as-is and to-be process Create new and update existing process maps where necessary using Signavio and obtain appropriate process owner approvals Undertake analysis in collaboration with stakeholders to fully comprehend problem statement/s, to deliver and playback future state options where MVP / iterations have been defined Source and utilise data to (in)validate assumptions throughout and after delivery.
Seek guidance and support from Data Analysts, where required Engage with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, sharing updates, seeking feedback and responding to feedback Ensure potential and active risks and issues are captured, assessed, managed and mitigated in a timely manner Work with squads and stakeholders to translate high level goals into detailed plans, business impacts, communications, Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and change interventions, then prepare and execute on those plans Plan, facilitate and manage/support testing activity for your deliverables, such UAT, BVT, DRH Create and maintain supporting materials; including but not exclusive to the collateral required throughout delivery e.g.
Knowledge Management Guides, Process Maps, Business Impact Assessment (BIA), Operational Risk Assessment (ORA), Product Variation Document What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
A minimum of 3 years' experience demonstrating proven business analysis skills and/or other related project delivery experience, including analysis and elicitation techniques and the ability to define requirements in complex and challenging business environment Exposure to home lending, credit policies or related financial services domains and system Detailed knowledge and experience of process mapping/analysis tools and techniques Proactively identifying and assessing risks and complying with risk management processes and policies  Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria Ability to apply change management practices, communicate direction, rationale and outcomes clearly (bring people on the journey) and a continuous improvement approach based on feedback loops Excellent interpersonal, active listening and influencing skills – you need to be comfortable asking questions, raising concerns, and constantly thinking about our customers Ability to solve problems through drawing on past experiences and applying judgement within your skill set An eye for detail - as a member of a team responsible for analysis and writing requirements, your willingness to iteratively improve precision and clarity is paramount Familiarity with agile delivery, business/technical requirements and assessing changes to systems or process functions  A strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes Ability to learn on the job, navigate through ambiguity and a demonstrated growth mindset You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
