You will be experienced at handling the high-pressure deadlines of breaking news coverage, accomplished at delivering accurate live reports on air, have excellent writing skills and be able to pitch fresh, distinctive stories that will engage Sydney's diverse communities. The role will involve:Researching, preparing, producing and writing stories a high standard, in line with ABC editorial policies.Consistently generating original story ideas and angles.Writing concise and accurate scripts and stories, using creative storytelling techniques. Working collaboratively with the NSW news team on breaking news events.Identify and manage editorial risks.
