We're looking for a qualified Journalist to prepare and present weekday news bulletins for Darwin's Mix 104.9 and Hot 100. You'll be sourcing, preparing, and reading local news as part of ARN's Local News First initiative. About The Role: Write, edit and present high quality news for our Darwin listeners. Conduct and edit interviews for inclusion in local news bulletins. Write, edit and publish news stories for the Mix 104.9 and Hot 100 website. Report from the field and attend media conferences, doorstops, police incidents and other news events as required. Form connections with local newsmakers to ensure ARN is Darwin's news leader. About You: Strong on-air presentation and writing skills. Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications. Understanding of the law as it relates to media, particularly in the areas of Defamation and Contempt of Court. A passion for news and a workable understanding of sport. What's in it for you!
