Description The Role: It's never been a more exciting time to be joining Navantia Australia, one of Australia's leading companies in the Maritime and Defence industry.
Due to Navantia Australia's ongoing success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Joint Relationship Manager to join the team out of its Garden Island, Sydney office. Operating under the Designer Support Contractor (DSC) contract, the Joint Relationship Manager will be responsible for development and maintenance of collaborative relationships and processes with Asset Class Enterprise (ACE) partners.
The Asset Class Enterprise includes the Commonwealth, Capability Life-Cycle Manager (CLCM) and the Designer Support Contractor (DSC). The Joint Relationship Management scope will also extend to the Regional Maintenance Centres (RMC) and Regional Maintenance Partners (RMP).
As the Joint Relationship Manager your responsibilities include: Develop, deliver and manage the Joint Relationship Management Plan (JRMP) in accordance with ASDEFCON requirements. Development of Enterprise processes and tools, including standardisation. Promote collaborative working relationships and processes between ACE organisations. Resolution of process issues and relationship issues to promote collaborative working and focus on outcomes. Support Work and Resource Planning across the ACE. Subcontract Design and Implementation. Reporting on the progress, risks and issues related to the Joint Relationship program. As the ideal candidate, you will have: A graduate degree in strategy, leadership, business, or management (Desirable). Relevant experience in customer service, communication, business ethics, and conflict resolution. Experience within an organisation involved with large Commonwealth sustainment or through life support projects. (Desirable) Excellent project management acumen and skills. Very strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment. Ability to collaborate effectively and build positive relationships at all levels of the business, clients and Enterprise Partners. Direct and influence by providing advice and guidance to seniors, peers and subordinate staff as well as the Commonwealth.
