About the Team
Our Top Tier Dispute Resolution practice handles the largest and most complex litigation across major construction, infrastructure, and energy and resources projects, regulatory prosecutions, insolvency, plaintiff and defendant class actions, corporate, commercial, and competition and tax disputes. We are unique in the marketplace, combining top-tier capabilities with a service model that promotes the hands-on involvement of our senior lawyers.
About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced construction/commercial litigation Senior Associate to join our Sydney office. This role provides a good mix of hands-on matter management and strategic input alongside the Partners.
You will advise domestic and international clients on large complex disputes relating to major construction and infrastructure projects. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your skillset and advise on complex commercial litigation matters for clients in the construction and engineering, defence, aviation, and resources sectors.
About You
You obviously have plenty of technical aptitude and previous relevant experience, but there is much more to you. You:
deliver legal advice with a commercial and client-focused outlook, always; work well under pressure, meet your deadlines and excel working in a team; have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and you aren't afraid to use them, internally and externally; take a collaborative, positive, and energetic approach to everything you do; are comfortable and experienced mentoring and training junior lawyers; and will have 5+ PQE gained in construction litigation, property litigation, or insurance infrastructure disputes.
