The Executive Operations Manager will work closely and report to the Managing Director, will have a people-first approach, play a pivotal role in developing, empowering, and growing a cross-functional operations team. You will be responsible for unlocking passion, developing capabilities, strengthening accountability, and further enhancing safety culture and initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to lead by example, promote continuous improvement and demonstrate strong leadership across all operational teams on site.
The Executive Operations Manager will oversee the Manufacturing, Engineering/Quality Assurance, Production, & Maintenance, Logistics, Continuous Improvement and Safety teams throughout the company.
Significant investments and expansions continue in manufacturing, with new lines, new building sites and exposure to overseas markets. This is a dynamic role; it will never leave you feeling bored.
Key Responsibilities Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a variety of Senior Operations/Site Management roles, in medium or large business – preferably within the Valve manufacturing sector Ability to stretch and grow overseeing multi-site manufacturing operations Proven leadership and people management experience to drive achievement towards team and business results Strong project management skills with experience overseeing large capital projects including equipment upgrades, facility expansions and technology implementation Strong background in Lean Project methods Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, ERP, CRM systems Streamline a new pricing system Strong experience or knowledge of change management processes Negotiation incentives for targets Supply chain order Vision for moving slow moving stock Assist Managing Director in driving projects About You To thrive in this role, you'll need:
