Job Title: McNab Facade Draftsperson
Location: Clark Office-based

Responsibilities:
Prepare project specific Façade shop drawings that capture the complete contracted scope of works for submission and approval by Architects, Consultants and Builders.
Ensure shop drawings include General Notes, Floor Plans, Product Schedules, Sectional Details and Installation Set Outs as a minimum.
Follow the 'McNab Façade Drafting Procedures' and utilise various 'McNab CAD Libraries' and Templates.
Report directly to the 'Façade Design Manager' and liaise on project specific requirements.
Meet non-negotiable submission dates based on project programs.
Your Capabilities:
Read and understand project specifications, architectural and structural drawings.
Prepare shop drawings relating to building facades accurately and to program.
Aware of basic National Construction Codes and Australian Standards requirements.
Previous experience in Australian architectural façade features employing geometric profiles would be advantageous.
Able to communicate in a precise and qualified manner with other Team members.
Further develop and maintain CAD libraries and templates.
Computer Skills:
Experienced in AutoCAD 2D software for shop drawing preparation, with the ability to follow standard internal drawing office procedures (ACAD 3D skills would be useful but not necessary).
Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams programs.
Personal Traits:
Punctual and practice time management.
Able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Work cohesively with other Team members.
