Position Overview:We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Assistant to join our team, dedicated to improving the workflow of the Engineering Department.

Responsibilities: Hands-on operational tasks Follow operating procedures and oversee stock receiving procedures. Field drafting and scanning. CAD drawings conversion. Collaborate with engineers to create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models of mining machines and related components. Support the development and implementation of engineering changes and drawing revisions. Perform quality checks on drawings and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Professional Qualities: Integrity and responsibility are paramount. Ability to empathize and devise solutions from others' perspectives. Proactive, passionate, and result-driven. Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering - Highly regarded. Solid understanding of Drawing standards.
