Job Evaluation Specialist, Transport and Main RoadsDepartment of Transport and Main Roads QLD – Brisbane QLDAs the Job Evaluation Specialist, you are responsible for maintaining the consistency, integrity, and equity by providing comprehensive independent role evaluations to designated streams across Queensland Government, in accordance with the approved JEMS methodology and public service legislation/standards.The Job Evaluation Specialist is a subject matter expert on role evaluations and provides expert advice to clients on the role evaluation process.You will do this by:Providing comprehensive independent role evaluations, through interview, desktop, or benchmarking to determine a position's work value level.Critically analysing and interpreting information to determine if it's fit-for-purpose for evaluation.Applying good judgement using the Mercer methodology system to determine positions' work value scoring.Partnering with clients to understand their business requirements, organisational design, and factors influencing position requirements.Providing expert advice, guidance, and recommendations about the JEMS methodology and the evaluation process to facilitate their understanding.Writing professional role evaluation reports to clients justifying the evaluated work level scoring.Developing and fostering professional and collaborative working relationships with clients.Maintaining accurate and appropriate record keeping, systems, and standards in the delivery of job evaluation services.Applications will remain current for 12 months.#J-18808-Ljbffr
