There is no one way to help people find work and it takes a range of activities to support someone into the right job. Some of the ways we make this happen include:
Having regular and in-depth conversations to develop job goals and address barriers to employment, Helping with job search tasks like putting together an application and interview techniques Investigating different career options and sourcing activities to support career transition Building relationships with employers to source vacancies and match the right people to the right job, Provide support to the employer and employee during those early months to foster an ongoing and productive employment relationship. Along with these kinds of hands-on duties, there is a high level of administrative maintenance and compliance requirements which we must meet under our government frameworks using online and in-house systems.
Desired Skills and Experience We don't mind if you have not worked in employment services before, as we will train you. What you must have is a positive energy and a genuine passion to help others. Working as team player you will need to adapt easily and be willing to make a true difference. Solid administration and time management skills are essential.
A valid Working with Children and National Police Check are required.
