About this Role
The Finance and Administration Coordinator is a unique and varied role where you will be responsible for finance systems administration, accounts receivable, invoicing and general ledger integrity. You will also provide administrative support to the Business Development function to ensure accuracy across scheduling of sponsor contracts and accounting segments.
This is a full-time maternity leave replacement position available for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities include:
Credit Control for Sponsors: Approve and monitor finance processes related to sponsor contract proposals, including ensuring correct allocation of income, prompt billing and debt collection, and overseeing the debtor's ledger, debtor payments and raising journal and credit note requests Management reporting: Maintain regular updates in scheduling software (Aquira), generate regular reports and provide cash in-flow forecast on a weekly basis. (Training will be provided in Aquira software.) Business Development support: Support the end-to-end sponsorship process, including liaising with customers and the audio production team, finalising sponsor briefs and seeking customer approval for audio/media production Bookkeeping : Support balance sheet integrity, profit and loss sheet integrity through monthly general ledger reconciliations, and raise sundry debtor invoices as required Contra: Assist the Finance Manager in maintaining the Contra Register and associated processes General finance support: Assist with the procedures manual and SLA, compilation of the annual budget, the audit process and fundraising campaigns as required About You
To thrive in this role you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting/office administration, such as a Bachelor or Certificate IV in Accounting Experience in accounts receivable and/or finance administration Experience in administration and stakeholder coordination Competence in accounting software and Microsoft Office Attention to detail Results orientation Customer focus Analytical thinking Demonstrated passion for PositiveMedia's vision and mission This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly motivated, passionate and innovative workplace.
